Greenbrier is a section of the Great Smoky Mountains just outside of Gatlinburg in the Pittman Center area. There is currently only one spot available for weddings within Greenbrier due to an indefinite road closure. Greenbrier #1 is a stunning creekside area near the entrance to Greenbrier.
Rushing waters, majestic boulders, and rich woods makes this a breathtaking location for your wedding. This area can accommodate up to 10 people max, including the couple and any children. This location is not a suitable location for anyone with difficulties navigating rough terrain. While the wedding spot is a short walk from the parking area, there is a steep embankment area that you must walk down
Ceremony & Officiant
Of course, the ceremony and officiant are included with all of our packages. Our officiant has married more than 4000 couples in the Great Smoky Mountains area over the last 10 years.
Post-Wedding Marriage License Filing
Following your ceremony, the officiant completes your marriage license. It is then filed back with the County Clerk’s office. Your official certified marriage certificates are then mailed out to you, ready to use back home.

Whether it’s a privately owned Gatlinburg waterfall or a one of our gorgeous spot inside of the National Park, we’ve got you covered. Site rental fees or National Park permits are included.

This location requires a Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) and a Special Use Permit (SUP), both of which we supply. The SUP is already included in the package price for you. As with all National Park weddings, the wedding spot is open to the general public, therefore, there may be people at the spot during your wedding time.
Do not let that deter you though, as this location is truly an excellent choice for your Great Smoky Mountains wedding with numerous gorgeous spots for wedding photos.

Adam and Danielle created our perfect wedding day with just my husband and I!!! Adam officiated our vow exchange and Danielle took amazing pics! Both were very friendly and personable! We chose the private creekside location and it was perfect! Thank you again for making our special day so amazing and simple!!
There are honestly not enough great things to say about Adam and Danielle. They made our wedding day beyond memorable. Such beautiful, fulfilling, and wonderful memories they helped create on our special day. If you are thinking about purchasing one of their phenomenally priced packages, think no more…..just do it. You won’t regret it. Thank you guys again for the beautiful memories you helped create ❤
I can not recommend Adam and Danielle enough! Me and my husband got married on Halloween, and they exceeded every expectation! Very friendly. Danielle took the time to include each family member in the photos. They will forever be a part of this very special day of mine! Thank you both so very much!
Can we have guests?
Of course! While we do many true elopements (with no guests), all of our wedding locations allow for up to 20 total people and every package (except the Simple Remembrance) allows for guests. This includes the two being married, any members of the wedding party, and any and all guests, including children. This is a strict limit, though, and the number cannot be increased for any reason. Since we specialize in elopements, all of our locations have this restriction. We do not offer locations/packages for weddings with more than 20 people.
Is getting to the location difficult?
Getting down to the water requires going down a small embankment. We recommend flat shoes and this location isn’t recommended for those with trouble walking.
How do I make a reservation? Is a deposit required?
It’s simple, really. Once you have decided on your date, what package you want, and the location you want to get married at, you can reserve your wedding on our website at this link. You can also just click “Book Now” farther up the page under the package you wish to book. If you prefer to make your reservation over the phone, just give us a call at (865) 365-5025.
To reserve your date/time/location, there is a $300 non-refundable deposit. Since it’s non-refundable, you’ll want to be sure to finalize your travel plans prior to booking your elopement with us. The remaining balance isn’t due until the time of the ceremony.
How do I get the Tennessee marriage license?
For any elopement taking place in Tennessee, a Tennessee marriage license is required. No company can get it for you on your behalf as it must be signed by the couple directly in front of the county clerk. Out-of-state couples often stress about this. But, getting a Tennessee marriage license is super simple.
In Sevier County, we have three offices you can get it from and they can be issued any day of the week except for Sunday. In about ten minutes, you’ll be out of their office with your marriage license in hand. Just bring this license to your wedding spot and we take care of the rest. For additional information regarding the Tennessee marriage license, click here.
How many photos are included?
The Mountain Memories package includes 60 minutes of photography and includes around 60-70 photos. The Appalachian Admiration package includes 90 minutes of photography and includes 90-100 photos. The Smoky Mountain Serenity packages includes 120 minutes of photography and includes 120-140 photos. Since the Simple Remembrance package doesn’t include photography, it includes 0 photos.
