Reserving a Ceremony

Your wedding ceremony reservation can be booked online using this booking form. We can also accept reservations over the phone at (865) 365-5025. Reservations are subject to availability and are not final until we have received your deposit and given official confirmation with a signed contract. Please note that some locations (Private Creekside and any location within the Great Smoky Mountain National Park) have availabilities that are dependent on other parties. If your exact chosen time is unavailable, we will offer you the closest available time. Once we have received your deposit, we will be in contact with you during this process to go over the alternative options, if need be.

Deposits & Payments

At the time of booking a wedding, we require a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. This payment can be made online via Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express. If you make a reservation via phone with us, we can also accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express payments. The remaining balance is due payable in CASH-ONLY at the time of the ceremony. If you prefer to pay your balance via credit card, please call us at least 48 hours prior to your wedding and we can take that payment over the phone. Remaining balances paid via card are subject to a 3.5% credit card processing fee.

Marriage Licenses

Before you can get married here, you will need a marriage license from the State of Tennessee. Information on applying for a marriage license can be found here. Be sure to have the license with you, as the minister will need to sign and file it after your wedding service. Vow renewals do NOT require a wedding license.

Cancellations

Please finalize your travel plans prior to reserving your wedding with us. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Please do not book if you do not intend on showing up or keeping your date/time. Cancellations and/or rescheduling must be done at least 5 days prior to your scheduled ceremony.

Timeliness

We perform many wedding ceremonies in the Smoky Mountains and it makes it really hard on us and other couples if we have to wait for you (or others in your party) to arrive or get ready. For this reason, please be at the location and ready at the designated meeting time (15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time). Traffic can be EXTREMELY heavy in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If you are not ready at the designated time, Elope to Gatlinburg reserves the right to reschedule your wedding (at our availability) and charge a $250.00 rescheduling fee, in addition to any remaining balance due.

Additionally, since Great Smoky Mountain National Park permits are only issued for a specific date/time, your wedding would now need to take place at a different location outside of the National Park, based on availability. We really hate doing this, but please understand that we have other ceremonies to attend and cannot be late. In addition, we cannot obtain a replacement permit on such short notice for National Park weddings, as permits require a 14-day minimum lead time. Please…and we stress this with everything we have…show up on time.

Final Payment & Paperwork

We will meet with you at your designated meeting time. At this point, if a remaining balance exists, the final payment for the wedding is due. The remaining balance payment can be made in CASH-ONLY as we can’t charge the cards at the various locations (many of which that don’t have adequate cell phone signal). If you would like to pay your remaining balance via card, please give us a call at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled wedding time. We can take your card payment over the phone via Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express. Remaining balances paid via card are subject to a 3.5% credit card processing fee. Once the wedding services are complete, the minister will take care of completing the marriage license and return it to the county clerk to be processed.
